As I watch my daughter come out of the bathroom after washing up from snack I notice that her shirt is off. "Joy, why is your shirt off?" I ask. She replies, quite frankly, "I wanna be Superman". "And why do you want to be Superman?" I inquire wonderingly. Her reply, " Because he wears underwear!"

I try to explain that Superman wears tight clothes, but they are not underwear, even though it looks like it. She consented to put on a new dress and is now trying to find various safe places to jump from so she can be Superman .....

I think it's going to be a long day. I need to get her outside.
